Check these speeds out!
I got 22.92 down and 5.92 up. I'm at Vanderbilt.
The timing couldn't be more perfect since I'm visiting.
Watch your data usage on LTE. It's insanely easy to burn through capped data.
So fast when new. My area used to see 40mb's when launched now it hangs more around 10 to 15.
im jealous, really jealous!
just give 15 mbps down, and 5 mbps up, stable and consistent in every area i walk and i'll be happy forever.
Very nice. Wish that would reach up here to Clarksville.
you have verizon?
Yes, as always.
Lucky for me I have unlimited data.
Just visiting? What's the occasion?
Well, this is another thing pushing me in the direction of the new iPad...
Any word on whether they are planning to roll LTE out anywhere else in Tennessee - specifically Chattanooga or Knoxville?
Think yourselves lucky you damned Americans, we don't have 4G/LTE here in the UK....
Yet - you don't have 4G yet. We suffered long enough with spotty 3G or 2G service here while most of Europe enjoyed great service just about anywhere you went. Population density has its benefits. Why the European telcos haven't jumped on the 4G upgrade is strange. Perhaps it's because they're not making as much money as the big 2 are here - raping us for what has been spotty poor service and locked in long term contracts?
It's very telling when the big telcos aren't complaining about investing billions of their cash for tech upgrades.
Fair point and it does look like we'll have it next year.
Ofcom (governing body) haven't even auctioned off the spectrum yet.
All the networks over here have trials running, but it does like it won't get a public release until next year.
I came here to attend a professional development thingy at Vanderbilt. First time in this city actually but so far I really like it. The LTE service means I don't have to pay the wireless rape fees the hotel charges.
