I did a search and from what I can tell carriers in Brasil are rolling out LTE using 2600MHz spectrum. Which means the U.S. version of the iPhone 5s will not get Brazilian LTE.

U.S. version supports:

1 (2100 MHz)
2 (1900 MHz)
3 (1800 MHz)
4 (AWS)
5 (850 MHz)
8 (900 MHz)
13 (700c MHz)
17 (700b MHz)
19 (800 MHz)
20 (800 DD)
25 (1900 MHz)

Am I correct on this? In order to use LTE in Brasil, I will need to buy a European version of the iPhone 5s which supports 2600MHz?

U need to get the European unlocked iPhones that support band 7 (2600) for lte in Brazil.
