I had my macbook tethered to my iphone yesterday and I had 4 bars LTE and only got 6.5mb on verizon

in lakeview, belmont by the lake.

I live next to North Park University, Northwest Side of the city, and i get consistently between 15-20. I work in Elmhurst, and i get between 18-25. Verizon Iphone 5. love my speeds!

Must be congestion around the lakeview area. It is a highly populated and popular area of the city and has plenty of bars etc so that has a part to play. I have seen it be as high as thirty mb around the city.

Weird, i live in Chicago, and i regularly get 30 to 50 Mbps on my iphone 5 with Verizon.

really depends where you are. around my place i get 4-5mbps on average... but at a friend's who lives about a mile and a half away, i got 16mbps

then over by the damen blue line i got 26mbps
