What am I going to do with my 3G microcell? It enables me to have pretty good reception in my building. I'm wondering how good LTE is going to be. Hmm... Will we see an LTE microcell anytime soon? What you people think?

Doubt it. LTE is a lower frequency and thus will travel better and penetrate walls better. The iPhone 5 is backwards compatible with 3G, so I highly doubt carriers will update MicroCells. In fact, they haven't done so for current LTE phones (at least with AT&T).

What's the point, at least until VoLTE is really prevalent? If you're using a microcell, you have internet nearby and thus should have WiFi (faster, lower battery consumption). Why run up your data usage by going through the microcell?

I'd give it 2-3 years prior to seeing anything involving a microcell that has LTE.
