My uncle tested his LTE in front of me today (this would be in Garland, near Dallas) and he got 29 mb down lmao. My Edge felt so so so pathetic. I can't wait until T-Mobile rolls out LTE next summer.

Maybe a basic question, but is your service indicator on the phone saying LTE or 4G? If it's 4G, you have an HSPA signal, not LTE.

What city are you testing in?

I'm In LA but I'm definitely on LTE. sad thing is I turned off the LTE one day and tested 4G in the same spot and 4G got 4 down, LTE got 2 down😕

I would do anything to have speed like that consistantly.

AT&T in Sacramento.

Lowest is around 10Mbps downspeed when maybe signal is low or traffic is high. But the highest in my results page is 58.07d/22.65u Mbps.

Needless to say, happy I have the iPhone 5 with LTE and grandfathered unlimited data plan. 😎

How many cities does AT&T even have LTE in? I've been with them since the first iPhone (in Michigan) wishing I switched to Verizon.

It depends where you are, how much traffic is on the particular tower, how far from it you are and many other variables.
Its not the same everywhere.

New York City

25-35 down average during the day. Best I've seen around 45-50.

It all depend where you are and what time of day it is as certain time of day tower traffic is heavy. NYC has good LTE covereage.

I had the same thing happen to me, I was getting lower speeds that some friends of mine with the same phone and AT&T LTE. They ended up replacing my phone and now I have no issues. Maybe some phones come with anthena issues.

Has anyone tried AT&T's LTE in Portland, Oregon yet? AT&T's 3G service has gotten really bad here in the past year. I was considering jumping ship to Verizon when I get my iPhone 5, but I'm grandfathered into AT&T's unlimited data plan and would prefer to stay, if their LTE connectivity is better than their 3G.
