I have a Tmobile Unlimited 2 line plan (100/month). Can I connect a Apple watch LTE to this or will I have to switch to a newer Tmobile One plan? Anyone have luck connecting using a legacy plan?

They won't let me add one via the web page. It says I have to call. I assumed this was because I'm on a legacy plan and they want to tell me in person that I can't add it without moving to the new plan rather than just admit it on the web page. It may be super easy once you call but I never voluntarily call cell phone customer support because I'm not a masochist. Good luck.

In the end its just going to hasten my departure to Verizon. My daughter needs to be on Verizon due to her college choice so I might as well just move everyone.

Ha! Yeah I feel the same way. I don't mind paying $10/mo more for the LTE watch service but if I have to switch to a ONE plan that brings the total change to around $30/mo for the 'same' service. Kind of irks me that they are using the Apple Watch to push customers towards a different plan.

I was worried about this as well, but I went into the T-Mobile store and the manager called their support to double check, and they said I can add the Digits line on my account without switching to the One plan.

I asked him 5 times to make sure I won’t lose my legacy plan.

Moving to Verizon from T-Mobile was one of my best decisions in life. It is like having a freedom from many inconveniences caused by having T-Mobile. I could not stand anymore with T-Mobile inconveniences including weak or no signals in the vast majority of inside buildings and areas in the metro in certain ZIP codes. The T-Mobile price is absolutely cheap but it comes with many inconvenience/hidden costs. All the free gifts are the strategy to retain their customers so they would not run away due to many inconveniences.

God they screw you guys, in the UK they swopped my plan free of charge to get it working.
