Wow... in an article in 9to5mac, it says: "In a single-core Geekbench test, the iPhone 6s scored a 2413, beating out the Retina iPad mini, iPad mini 3, and even the iPad Air 2. The multi-core score of the device was 4795."

This beats the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (4391 multicore)!!! Incredible!!!
Pretty sure that's a mistake on 9to5macs part. 4795 is its multi score floating point performance - that's not the same as the geekbench score overall.

Not to forget it's 2 cores vs EIGHT!

Wow! That's 49% faster than the iPhone 6 if that Geekbench score is accurate. That's truly amazing, almost outperforming the iPad Air 2 even, and we were impressed by that chip! Surely more impressive then the bump in performance from the A7 to A8

That's to be expected with the 's' model. You usually get a massive upgrade in performance. Also expect a minimal performance bump once again with the A10 in the iPhone 7.

Wow, I like it. If I'm reading this right, it's faster than an iPad Air 2 in single core usage by a good margin, and almost as fast in multi-core.

That's some serious speed. And the 6s Plus should be a tiny bit faster. Man, we're in for a treat.

I have to give it to apple hardware chip designers. I mean seriously, single core performance this good from one single chip revision.

I can only imagine the iPad Pro multicore score will be substantially higher. Since the A8X is tri-core cpu, you can probably guess the iPad pro will be QUAD CORE.

This is seriously advanced design considering we are getting closer and closer to a fully Apple A-cpu laptop/desktop within less than 5 years time!

Meanwhile, I ordered on Sept 12th and had an "Available to ship: 2-3 weeks, Delivers: 30 Sep, 2015 - 06 Oct, 2015 by Standard Shipping." Now, I get "Delivers: 07 Oct, 2015 - 13 Oct, 2015 by Standard Shipping" which will push the delivery date outside of 3 weeks. Is this normal?

Yes, and even though i'm sure the shot was great, most us can't see the detail on 2k displays anyway...

Good never the less, but if was a 4K video none of out non 5k mac would keep up.

Well it's quite amazing considering this iPhone 6S+ can now edit 4K video right on the phone itself! I can't even do that properly on my 2015 MBP 13".

That's not surprising, Apple always beats the competition when a new phone is. The great part is the iPhone absolutely kills everything else in single core... But of course Android phones still chase core counts as if it matters.. lol.
