m.2 Monterey-Ventura

M.2 Mac Air shipped with Monterey yesterday.
Still using xps to ask if there are any specific features required from Ventura.
My preference would be to wait until Ventura Beta's pass.
Initial M.2 experience and photo's to follow, such a meticulous Mac.

Ventura is full release not beta. I have it on all my machines inc. M2 MBA and it works well.

Just for your edification and to avoid confusion, Apple ARM CPUs don't have a period in them, i.e., M2. What could be confusing is that M.2 is a storage standard, coming from a PC, I'm sure your fingers were on auto pilot. I came into this thread thinking you were looking for help with M.2 SSDs.

I had prob unintendedly being using m.2 from nvme ssd use on other devices.
Maye I'll update to Ventura, had assumed latest mentioned versions were betas.

I got my M2 MBA last week and it was also on Monterey. I updated to Ventura which has been out since October and it's been running like a dream since.

M2 Air collected Sun 19th Feb.
One day early which was a nice though unexpected surprise.
Taking desk space of 2022 short lived M1 iMac.
Maybe I could have chosen more wisely during '22.
My home use, Portability is way forward.

Setup of Air was very fast, choosing to avoid immediate restore from iCloud, preferring to sign in later.
Photo Shop visuals are incredibly Impressive.
Base M2 8gb 256 ssd-215 useable from start up inc' Monterey.
Starlight Gold is matching quality of iPhone 14 Pro.
I have already re saved Pro Res Screenshots as JPEG's for purpose of Initial unboxing.
Looking forward to Premier Pro 7 day trial, though maybe I'll try some HD Video formats with Limited storage.

Yet lots of fun PS23 Prem Pro FcPx.
No hiccups though going through basics of those Apps.
