    Hi all,

    a few questions here.

    1. I have a m audio audiophile 2496 im my pc, and am considering getting a mac pro (desktop), will this card (pci) go into it and will it work well?

    2. If i was to run VMwares Fusion to run say FL Studio, would that work with my audiophile??

Mac Pro Specs - PCI Express

Three open full-length PCI Express expansion slots
One PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot
    Two PCI Express x4 slots
All slots provide mechanical support for 16-lane cards

so no, your regular PCI card will not work in the new Mac Pros. You shoud look into buying an M-Audio Fast Track Ultra, USB 2.0 portable audio interface. $300 at abesofmaine and it has 6 audio inputs, 4 preamps, midi in/out and 6 outputs with a software mixer. Works great with Mac and Windows installed on the Mac Pro.

When you migrate to Mac it would be an insult to the much better audio production programs if you stuck with FL Studio. That program is quite amateurish compared to Ableton Live or Logic Pro 8. When you get your Mac Pro your in the big leagues now, so no need for T Ball.
