Is anyone aware of a company that might be releasing a travel case for the M1 iMac? I know NSP is coming out with one, but I don’t need wheels and an extending handle.

The combination of the slim iMac design and matching slim case would make traveling with an iMac much more practical.

I was just talking about this with someone today. Curious to see how this develops. With 24" iMac being about as thin as an iPad and the overall size not being horribly large, it brings some mobility to applications where someone wants to travel with a small desktop all-in-one.

Precisely! Let me know if you find anything, and I’ll let you know if I do.

following along here too. the dimensions of the display without stand seem to be roughly 21.5" x 15", and at only 10 lbs (stand included I assume), traveling with this vs a laptop is now a worthwhile option for extended stays.

something like this pelican case would be great:

with plenty of depth to put peripherals below. the interior dimensions seem a bit too tight though, and adding in custom cut foam looks like it would push the price easily into the $400-$500 range. Probably more than I would be willing to spend but lets see what other options show up.
