Hi, after giving my M1 MBA a clean, I noticed however many times I wipe it down there seems to be permanent keyboard marks left on the screen. I'm assuming this is because of the chemicals from finger grease, but has anyone else found this? The last time I noticed things like this was with the anti-reflective coating that was coming off previous MacBooks.

Also, I just found a slight chip to the plastic bottom bezel. I've never dropped or bumped it so no idea how it go there. Anyone else had the same issue?

My warranty expires in 10 days. Is this something I could make a warrant claim on?

Probably something like the charging cable was between that cracked part and the chassis. Regarding the keyboard tub marks I've seen replacements under AC+ and during standard warranty, but also had refusals under warranty

I feel like that used to happen on my 2015 model that I had up until the end of last year (the keyboard marks on the screen) but nothing major. Just was able to wipe it off once a week or so with a little screen cleaner. Although, since getting a 14 inch MBP in October of last year I haven't had that issue at all surprisingly (clamshell mode used quite frequently).

Keyboard shadows are caused by applying pressure to the top cover, like when you carry the device closed in one hand like a closed book, fingers on top cover, thumb on back cover or vice versa. This kind of grip applies pressure to the device and flexes the screen against the keyboard. Do this often enough and it will etch those shadows permanently into the screen. Any kind of pressure to the cover will do this.

The other thing is normal wear and tear.
