So the M1 is virtually turning the laptop world around with it's power and efficiency.

What trickle down technology can we realistically expect to come to wearables such as the AW?
What other wild ideas can you imagine being possible?

the AW S series chips are based off the iPhone A series chips, so from that perspective we already have a lot of the benefits that the M series is getting now.
The future will bring more power/performance and better battery life (although that remains to be seen as Apple is holding their 18hr line pretty strongly). The performance is needed for future sensors and such as I see the AW key differentiators for the future in the healthcare area ...

Oh they might do it just for marketing purpose. Don’t expect to actually be able to use that M1 chip

They should bring M1 to the Watch, just so YouTubers will demand Final Cut Pro on their wrist and then have a meltdown when it doesn’t arrive.

“Why I’m returning the new M1 Apple Watch” - thumbnail of YouTuber posing with serious facial expression.
"Returning the Apple Watch" video happens after "8GB vs 16GB RAM for your AW7?" and "Using AW7 as sidecar" are done
