M1 Mac Mini will occasionally stop sending a signal to the monitor, making the monitor briefly turn off/on. I have an Intel MBP connected to the same monitor using the same thunderbolt-to-displayport cable, without a hitch.

I've had this issue since the M1 came out, but I had hoped for it to be resolved with software updates at this point.

I've had this since the latest big sur update.

It started with HDMI to USB -C so I switched to HDMI to HDMI (which had sleep issues, that are now fixed) and that didn't solve it....so I restarted and moved back to HDMI to usb-c and I haven't seen it since for over 5 days now.

I always had this issue when using a USB-C to HDMI dongle. I gave up reporting this bug with no reaction from Apple and switched to a CalDigit TS3 Plus, attaching the monitor via DisplayPort. No screen drop-outs ever since.

I think my issue is related to M1 not supporting Displayport 1.4, because it appears to go away when I switch the monitor OSD to use 1.2

Mine M1 Mini 16GB / 256 GB SSD is affected to - random blackouts on the hdmi port - hdmi to hdmi cable,
while the apple xdr 6k display works flawlessy on the thunderbolt port. I tried out several HDMI kables (8k ) - the problem stays.
