M1 Mac Mini upgraded after buying from Apple to 2TB - Ok to buy ?

I am looking to buy a M1 MacMini and I see that there is one for sale on ebay that has been upgraded from 256gb to 2TB by a specialist company - Is that likely to cause any issue further down the line ?

He had it done last month apparently and he is a power seller with a long good history AND has sent me the SMART screenshot which looks fine....

Just how did they do that?
Isn't the drive on an m-series Mac (other than the Studio) soldered in and made a part of the CPU/RAM/SSD assembly?

Could someone explain?

I WOULD NOT trust this "upgrade", regardless of how attractive the price seems...

Small NAND is removed, Big NAND is soldered in its place.
