I have the M1 Max MBP 16, I am so happy with so many aspects of it and it is really fast.

On automatic mode, I noticed this stuttering/slowness feeling sometime when I use Safari or Chrome for browsing or watching video. Am I the only one that feel it?

Also, if I turned to Low Power Mode on battery, the same stuttery/slowness feeling will be more obvious, and it makes me feel everything is slow and unpleasant.

I have noticed this also especially in browsing web pages. I find it odd when you look at the benchmarks there really is no reason for the browser to be chugging along.

Glad to hear I am not the only one noticing it. I wonder if this is a software or hardware problem?

There's a bug that comes and goes that causes the mouse or graphics to be jerky for about 10 minutes. It has nothing to do with hardware otherwise it would be a persistent issue not an intermittent rare issue.

I would speculate that it is an over reliance on the efficacy cores. The standard M1 powered laptop (not the pro or max verity) have an extra efficacy core. The software may have been optimized around having 3 of these cores and not two as the 2021 16" MBPs have. Though could be where the problem resides? I'm fairly certain this is just an optimization Apple will be able to egress in a future OS patch / release.
