I noticed the bottom of the screen on my M1 MBP flickers black during videos playing dominantly white clips. It goes super black when I move my mouse around (see image attached). Rebooted, installed all latest software, etc. No change to the issue.

Anyone else experiencing this?

UPDATE: Checked against Chrome, it appears to be a Safari issue. Black flickering only occurs when using Safari, doesn't seem to have any issue with Chrome. Reminds me why I've used Chrome all these years, I suppose.

Hi, I would just like to point out that I have the exact same issue. Same spot, same size, same model. It never happens unless I playback in safari. Im kinda concerned but hopefully its just a software bug. Did you not experience any problems with chrome since your post?
