M1 Mini Screen Flicker Monitor Recommendations

Hi - I have a new M1 Mini and to go with it I purchased a BenQ EL2870U 28" inch 4K monitor. However, I am experiencing the random intermittent flicker. After trying everything I have decided to send the BenQ back and buy another screen.

Can anyone recommend a 28" monitor that will work with the M1 mini without flickering? I was considering the Samsung LU28R550UQRXXU has anyone tried it with a M1 Mini? or the Lenovo Q27h-10?

I have the 2870 and have the same issue but I don't think it's because of the monitor, because I think I've read of other people with the same issue and different monitors.

Not 28", but my LG UHD 27UN83A 27" works perfectly with my M1 Mini - no flcikering or waking from sleep issues.

Hi, I have the same BenQ monitor and get the random flicker. I bought the monitor last year so can't send it back, but, it is not the monitor at fault anyway. I want to upgrade to a 32" 4K monitor but I am waiting for feedback from here to see which ones don't flicker with the M1 Mini.

I think the issues is VA vs IPS, my Dell flickered, but my new LG IPS doesn't flicker.
