Just purchased a backup laptop from OWC/Mac Sales.

32GB RAM, 512GB SSD

16-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine

I got it for $879. Was this an okay deal?

A decent deal. I bought mine last year for $650 with the base spec - 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, 14-core GPU. So that's about $200 more for double the RAM and two more GPU cores. My battery sits at around 270 cycles with 89% health.

It's an okay deal. You bought from a reputable retailer with a return policy. You probably could have saved $100-150 on eBay with patience. Peace of mind is worth something.
My thoughts exactly. I know OWC and have purchased from them before. It's not my main machine. I still use my M1 Max Mac Studio daily for like 10+ hours. This is to be my 'on the go' machine.

Thanks for your response.
