I am looking to upgrade my current iMac sound system (Logitech 2.1 system). I keep reading about how fantastic the Swans are, and I was looking at the M10s, but then I saw the M12s. Anyone have an opinion on the two, and are they really that good?

Honestly i'd pick neither. If you are dead set on swans then go for the D1080 as a minimum, otherwise go straight for the M200's.
I have some M12's
John Lane at Audio Insider described to me that M10's are basically the same, though the M12 Sub is bigger and each satellite has it's own Driver.
It is also quite heavier than the M10.
