have my M1 Air & HP34 working fine with 8kDP1.4 cable.

got my office M2 Air which doesn't recognize HP at all...

don't know if someone has the same issues. need help

I had loads of trouble with monitors after the 12.6.4 update.

Tried multiple dongles and cables... nothing worked.

Once I purchased a USB C to HDMI cable, that was Thunderbolt 4 compatible, it started working again.

Can you tell me which dongle/cable you used to solve this problem? I have an Anker HDMI to USB C dongle that sort of works sometimes with a Dell monitor, but when the computer goes to sleep and I wake it up, it often won't connect to the Dell monitor. Thanks.

Yes, I bought this inexpensive one on Amazon and it works perfectly for me, hopefully, it'll do the same for you: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B087213LB3
