Hello there,
I just received my M2 Air (24gb, 1tb, 10gpu) and while setting it up, I noticed the following:
Situation:
The inside of the bottom right part makes a noise, when my palm is not 100% connected to the body - meaning: whenever I am doing something with my left hand only (e.g., using shortcuts), clicking or typing without resting the hand on the bottom right ... it sounds like something is "loose" inside ... I don't actually think that something is loose, it is similar to the sound of the body not connected to the inside of the hardware... I can force this noise while continuously "morse-coding" one finger on the bottom right. None of my previous Macs had this (checked my 2013 (yes, still running), 2016 and 2019 pro devices).
Question:
Is this normal with the M2 Air or is my device messed up?
Question 2 - if not normal:
Should I deal with the Support or send it back straight away?
I never had any issues with an order from the Apple store... can I even return box-opened devices?
Country: DE
Many thanks for your feedback, guys!
