I doubt they are using a true 10 bit panel on the new air. So that means it’s likely using temporal dithering to achieve the p3 wide color. AFAIK the only actual 10 bit display Apple sells is the Pro Display XDR. I’d love to be wrong though.
I’ve definitely noticed the Air has some sort of visible flicker on video.

Does anyone have experience with the M2 MacBook Pro 13? In the past, the base model 13 without Touch Bar has been the easiest on my eyes. I think it didn’t support P3, maybe that’s why?

I read elsewhere that apparently the need for temporal dithering could have been eliminated as well, unless they use FRC to get P3.
“the panel now supports the wider P3 color gamut”
I wonder what they mean by "the panel now supports the wider P3 color gamut"- the M1 Air is listed as P3 as well, so what's the difference? Notebookcheck states that the M1 does not have temporal dithering (FRC), but some on these threads dispute that in their findings. Notebookcheck says no temporal dithering on the M2, either- but doubtful, is it truly again an 8 bit display with FRC to achieve the P3 gamut?
