M2 MBA - anyone else had issues with MagSafe cable not connecting/charging?

Had my M2 MBA for about 8 months. Last month or so every time I connect the MagSafe charger it won't begin charging. Usually when you plug it in, it connects magnetically, you get the notification sound from the mac, the the little orange light illuminates on the cable end and you get the charging symbol on the battery.

Most of the time I have to remove it, re-insert it firmly and wiggle it around to make it connect and charge. Sometimes it'll just stop charging and the light will turn off even though it's magnetically connected. It mainly seems to be just one side, if I flip it over it will connect most of the time straight away.

Anyone else had this issue or just me?

Try another Magsafe cable.

Yes, clean the cable end and the MacBook end. I had something small and magnetic sneak into my MacBook connection and it wouldn't charge.
