M2 MBA Charge Light Color After Installing Tahoe 26.5

Before I updated to Tahoe 26.5, the charge light on my adapter connector stayed amber unless the charge was at 100%; it turned green only then. Now, it stays green even if the charge is only 80% and charging is on hold. Only when I select "charge to full now" from the Battery menu does it turn amber. Is this a bug or a "feature"? TIA.

Sounds like a feature improvement to me.

Green = charged to configured maximum
Amber = charging.
