Hello,

I noticed Apple's wireless web battery test result for the new M2 Pro 14 inch is 12 hours, but interestingly it was conducted using a 12-core CPU model, (in the past they've usually used the absolute baseline model).

I wondered if the 10-core CPU could have better than 12 hours? Or is it just a binned chip and won't make much of a difference?

Thanks.

the 10-core (M2 Pro) in comparison to the 8-core (M1 Pro) should be about an hour difference

The M2 Pro is slightly running higher Mhz cores and you have now 4 efficient cores instead of 2.

Their whole chart comparison was purposely done to confuse people lol, we will need to wait and see the benchmarks, test and reviews and go from there.

we will have wait to see..but it can be since it has 2 less efficiency cores that draw less w
