Have a 16” M3 Max MacBook Pro. 4tb ssd and 64gb of ram..
My 2 year old son decided to pour his chocolate milk on it a couple of days ago. (Yes, it was open)….
I immediately turned it off, aired it out. Didn’t turn it on for a few days. I did turn it on today, and it won’t stay on…. So im not going to use it obviously until I get it to Apple…
I know it was a BTO high spec MacBook Pro, I wouldn’t mind getting another exact config m3 max because this machine has been running like a champ and m4 or m5 isn’t needed…. But what’s the odds that they have that in the warehouse? Theirs not even any 16” computers at all in the refurbish store…

Part of me is thinking, it’s such a rare config that they have to have a couple left in the warehouse for these situations. The other side is, this is such a rare config that it’s not worth having these in the warehouse and it’s more cost effective to build them upgraded as needed.

Sounds good... Just was wondering lol... Wishful thinking I suppose. Was trying to look for a bright side to having to spend 300-400 for repair for chocolate milk lol
