The scores look amazing, especially pleased to see a nice single core boost!

That is a nice bump. Hoping this translates to more AAA games on the iPad.
Yepp... That's quite an impressive score... didn't expect a another leap forward after the M3 but rather a minor refresh of perhaps 10%... not 20%+
As someone who just bought an M3 MacBook: WTF Apple?
I mean I'm perfectly happy with the performance of the M3, but I'm pretty sure a lot of people will now wait for the M4 Macbooks knowing the CPU is already outdated...
Anyway, the CPU is wasted in the iPad... like putting a V8 on a lawn mower...
I'm waiting for the M4 Ultra to replace the M2 Ultra. Really excited. This just makes me really excited for the M4 Pro / Max chips.
why would you need that already?I'm waiting for the M4 Ultra to replace the M2 Ultra. Really excited.

Tim Taylor would like a word with you about your analogyAnyway, the CPU is wasted in the iPad... like putting a V8 on a lawn mower...
Hi, that's me! I just bought a base M1 MBA from Walmart for $699. I follow Apple products pretty closely, and yet this M1 MBA is blazing fast for my needs. It's still such an incredible machine.I get where you’re coming from but the average MacBook buyer in my opinion is not spec driven but wants an affordable Mac experience. I doubt that most would care about the high end iPad chips right now.
I'm confused with the Metal score, my M1 Ultra gives me 119033 (which is much faster than the M4 here at 53630).
Any chances this is Geekbench 5?
