Here's a fun little fact I learned today by accident. If you restore a M5 MBA using macOS Recovery, it downloads 26.3.2, the version that's supposedly only out for the Neo.

Good question. This laptop was purchased through our business account and auto linked to our MDM. I was doing some testing on it with a dummy account before deploying it. Erasing it was the easiest way to set it up fresh for the real user.
