I missed this sale last week, and just missed it now again. Would have bought the 256gb model for $799 to replace my M1 air model.

If anyone’s on the fence - I went from the 2018 pro to the M5 and it’s the best thing ever. Screen, Battery, SSD Space, Fast Charging are great upgrades. The old one replaced an echo show (amazon’s unwanted home billboard) in the kitchen for timers, recipes, music…
