Amazon also has the 512GB Wi-Fi 11-inch iPad Pro for $999.99, down from $1,199.00, and the 1TB Wi-Fi model for $1,399.99, down from $1,599.00. All three of these deals are $199 discounts and record low prices on the 2025 iPad Pro.

These iPad Pro models feature a super-slim design, Thunderbolt support, and OLED displays. They were just refreshed last October making Amazon's deals great discounts on these still-new tablets.

Update: The discount on the 256GB Wi-Fi iPad Pro has expired, but you can still get the other two deals.

This is closer to what the true price of these machines should be at all times. It's a good deal. Will be interesting to see how these are priced when the M4 iPad Air comes out. M4 iPad Air will likely be priced at $599. I would argue the $200 premium for the iPad Pro would be worth it over that device (newer chip, better screen, etc). $400 is a bit more of a stretch.

Apple will give me $605 for my 11 inch M4, I don't mind the fact I'd have to lay out the full cash at Amazon/Costco since I'll use the Apple gift card anyway later on. Just wonder if its worth the $194 (plus tax) to go from M4 to M5 or not.

The M5 will have 12GB of RAM whereas the M4 has 8GB of RAM. I would pay the difference you quoted for more RAM if you to keep the iPad for more than a year.

For video playback you'll see that its really not much bigger than the 11 inch due to the aspect ratios. Unless you're going full screen but that crops parts of the video off.
True for YouTube. For basketball it's full screen and not cropped which is nice.

Have you tried holding the 13” with two hands and splitting the keyboard in half? That makes it easier to hold and work with when named, unless one has the MKB.
Yes that's valid advice, I mainly mean when holding it while reading the WSJ or whatever. I like holding the iPad Pros when using them but mainly keep the 13" in the folio case on a desk while using it. Also for traveling I'd tend to lean towards the 11"

8 to 16GB memory upgrade is ridiculously expensive: $600 (you'll get extra storage with as well, but that for many use-cases that is irrelevant).

(Having a iPad Pro M4 with 8GB memory, the only reason for considering upgrade is that apps keeps crashing for having too little RAM and idiotic "if we cannot malloc, lets just kill apps" -multitasking).

I just hope the speakers on the 11" M5 are better than the M4's because they sounded tinny when I tried out the 11". The 13" sounds much better

If they release more demanding games such as cyberpunk or control I will up grade from the m4 to the m5 until then I’m good

It's annoying those inventory numbers from the US Amazon is almost never working with other countries. But any other Amazon domain than .com is leading to the same other country site if you just change the domain in the link.

Until several years ago those dp numbers had been the same also on the US website.

I came to remind about Costco having solid deals on M4 iPad Pro models, but wanted to check availability first. To my extreme dismay, encrapification has struck the [already embarrassing] Costco app, in the form of inline ads occupying more than half of the screen:

I missed this sale last week, and just missed it now again. Would have bought the 256gb model for $799 to replace my M1 air model.
