Upgraded?? from a 2013 15" MacBook Pro (thanks Quickbooks and Microsoft) to a 15" MacBook Air M5. Aside from Tahoe being a complete mess of an OS, everything about the Air is really nice, except the speakers. They are very bassy and hollow sounding at lower volume (almost sounds like the sound is coming from inside a tunnel). I have to increase the volume quite a bit to start getting the sound to mix in better. The 13 year old MacBook Pro had way better speakers to me. I'm not expecting built in speakers to be high end, but for every day use, the MacBook Pro just seemed "normal" while the MacBook Air seems "strange". Actually, this is the first Mac I've used or owned where the speaker sound is not quite right. Anyone else think the MacBook Air speakers are odd sounding?
