So I've had my 15" M5 MacBook Air for over a week now and something has been bothering me. The feet. They're not rubbery or grippy at all, they're just like some kind of vinyl/plastic material that doesn't keep the laptop in place on my dining table at all. It seems that their only purpose is to elevate the laptop off the surface to allow the computer to cool.

Has anyone with an M4/M5 or similar MacBook Air installed aftermarket feet that actually grip?

Are they like this on the M4 versions also?

Shopping those right now, but perhaps it won’t matter as I will probably put the whole thing in a clear case that will have its own rubber feet.
I just looked at a family member's M4 MacBook Air, and it's the same on hers too. No grip. She described it as "a very stupid design" haha.

Interesting that you claim the Air cannot stay put on a dining room table. I'm using mine at the table right now and it barely moves when I push it. Maybe it depends on the finish on the table? I don't know.
