Hi all, I am wondering how many cores we will be able to assign to Logic Pro or MainStage on macs with the new M5 pro/max chips. E.g. on my Macbook Air M4 I can assign 4 cores as it has 4 performance cores. On my Macbook M1Pro I was able to assign 8 cores.

With the renaming of the cores (performance -> super and efficiency ->performance) will we be able to assign Super AND Performance cores or just the 6 Super cores? The latter being a big step back from the M4/M3 pro/max chips.

Would be great to have a definitive answer.

Update: It seems you get to assign up to 12 cores.

The M5pro was the 18 core version.
