ive just bought a new replacement battery which works fine, however when the battery runs out, instead of going to sleep it just shuts off😕 then the clock and time is reset back to 1970 and i have to change it back.

someone help me please

That's a new feature in the current replacement batteries called the Steve Jobs© Nostalgia® feature. It brings you back to the days of yore, before the black turtlenecks and Levi's.

Ok really. You might want to try resetting PRAM. Shut the computer down, and start it up again. After you press the power button, hold down the :apple: Option P and R keys until you hear a second BONGGGGG... see if that helps.
