Hi everyone,

Alright here is my issue. My stock graphics card died on me and I have ordered the ATI Raedon HD graphics 5770 to replace it, however I need to install Snow Leopard in order for it to work apparently. Now my question is, since my graphics card died on me I can only boot up in Safe Mode so my main concern is, will I be able to install Snow Leopard on my Mac in order for my new graphics card to work with it being in Safe Mode and then install the new ATI Raedon HD graphics 5770 Or am I completely out of luck?

Thanks.

If you have another Mac, you should be able to boot the pro into target mode and have them connected via FireWire. Then install the OS from the second Mac.
