MAC 2018 PRO TOUCHBAR CRASHING ALREADY!!???

Hi all,

I have a new 2018 Macbook Pro with the touch-bar that has suddenly starting freezing and crashing, (twice in a month). I have searched the internet and have not found any results matching my problem; (the ones matching my problem are the 2016 models). I wanted to know if there are other Pro 2018 owners having this problem, and yes, I am taking it to the Apple store; just want to know if this is a common problem, and hopefully a fix for it.

Compared to my Macbook Air, the Pro has already crashed as many times as the Air...and that laptop is eight years old!!!
 
Have you done a fresh instal or did you transfer an old instal?

If it's not something you've easily come across, I guarantee that's what Apple will suggest over the phone or in store. So you may as well try it if you haven't already.

It's a fresh from the factory install. I installed one utility app, one editing software, and that's about it..
 
nobody is telling it is a problem for everyone, but when you got problem, you are searching for possible solution.... thread i posted here contains valuable information that can help you understand root-cause of your issue (and was already moderated for OT replies)

I've had mine freeze a couple of times, usually when adjusting the volume. It eventually sorts itself out though. Assumed it was something software and would be fixed at some point.
 
Thanks Broslowski, that seems to be my problem.

Man that is a big thread..Apple needs to fix that. Now.

Try reinstalling MacOS
