Hi, I managed to get an almost new (used 5 Times) MacBook Air 2015 , for £300 so thought id give it a go and sell it on if it isn't to my liking, as a windows user its taking me a while to figure stuff out, and a few swear words to boot.

not sure if this should be in the Sierra or air forum, how do these perform? its the i5 1.6 128gb SSD and 4gb ram. Reason I ask is, I installed windows 10 as a bootcamp, more to see if I could rather than use it, it flies in windows 10, quicker than my windows 10 laptop with 16gb ram!

however, in Sierra it seems to stutter every now and again. not too much open, app wise, , animations may be a bit stuttery (its a clean install of Sierra) I was just wondering if this is Sierra or the Mac :) I didn't get a chance to use it on El Captain, so can't compare.

macOS should run fine on any 2015 machine from Apple. Even on 4GB ram as it requires only 2GB for normal operation.

300 pounds for a 2015 machine is a good deal. Jealous! I would have paid 500 euro myself easily if it's good as new (and not stolen).

thanks, going to try El C to see if it works better just to put my mind at rest :) the lady i bought it off hated it with a passion, thought it might have been stolen. luckily it isn't.
