Each time I restart audio AirPlay from my Mac Studio to Apple TV the volume is reset to about 1/3 of full scale. The Mac doesn't remember the previous audio volume setting (100%) for AirPlay to Apple TV and has to be reset to desired volume.

Anyone else experience this? Any known fix?

Mac OS 12.4, Apple TV 4K, Mac Studio Ultra

2nd Problem - Amazon Music - At end of playing last song on an album Amazon Music automatically plays another song (as expected), but AirPlay usually terminates at beginning of that song and must be reselected again from Mac Menubar Sound Settings.

I'm experiencing it, but with AirPlay from VLC on my iPhone to the Apple TV. Did you ever find a solution?

I hesitate to answer because I've changed my home theater setup substantially and no longer experience the problem. I switched the AVR (used for audio preamp/decoding and A/V switching) the AppleTV output feeds from a rather old AVR to a current AVR. So I suspect the problem is related to how the older vs newer AVR handles CEC with the Apple TV. I didn't change any settings in the Apple TV when I made the switch. However, I have a very complex setup with many HDMI sources and multiple displays with a lot of HDCP/EDID issues and fixes, so the CEC issues can also get complex. But that is where I would look for the problem, CEC.
