Is it possible to sign into .Mac with a Alias if so is it the same password.

nope, but it's a feature I've suggested to Apple several times. As well as using .Mac with the Jabber service. No luck so far.

I've even suggested that IMing your alias would redirect to your .Mac name. No luck there either.
