Hi,

Last night I upgraded to iOS5. Now my music library on my Mac has more albums, songs and artists than my music library on my phone. I then unchecked the music synch, deleting all music from my phone.

I then did a new synch by re-checking, "synch entire music library" and the volume of music (songs, albums, artists) to be synched did not match my full library on the Mac.

I am trying to determine what is causing this discrepancy.

Thank you

I don't use the 'sync all' feature in iTunes as my library is bigger than my 64 GB iPhone, but have you gone through and looked at all of your music on your iPhone? Even after syncing with Wi-Fi, I noticed some of my songs were greyed out. I had to remove them and re-sync to get them back on the iPhone.

If all else fails, you may want to go artist by artist to see what's missing.
