Trying to download an app for the first time. Log out of os x and the app store, and log in again.
Fixed: The only way to fix mine was to restart my mac.
I also had to do this.
I'd accepted the new iTunes Store Terms and Conditions on my iPhone before I downloaded 10.6.6.
Logging out/in didn't fix it for me.
Ive had no probs installing the app, or downloading Angry Birds...I would imagine their servers have been inundated the first day for the curious ..
Is there any way to force the T&Cs to appear? I've restarted the App Store maybe 20 times already and I keep getting "we could not complete your purchase". I've deleted all cookies in Safari and I've restarted my Mac 3 times so far. None are fixing it.
Try accessing it in iTunes, I've heard some people say that that fixed their issue.
