I just installed a new hard drive onto my computer and restored my system from my time machine back up. Everything is working fine, except for all of my mac app store apps. I had call of duty 4 on my computer, and now the icon has an x through it and I can't find it anywhere. I also have many other apps from the store and they are all gone. Why are only the ones I downloaded from the store gone? Also can I get them back? I was really far in call of duty and I don't want to loose where I was at. thanks in advanced

Hi,

I'm not sure what the cause of the problem is, but have you looked under the "Purchases" tab in the App Store? You should be able to re-download anything that you've bought in the past, but don't have now.

I don't know about any saved game data though. Maybe others will have something to add..?

Just sign back in to the App Store and redownload your apps. Your settings should be in the restored files you have already put back on the computer.
