    Hello.

Today, I released a brand new Mac app: Briefly.

Still motion videos (a video with photos, where each photo is shown only for the fraction of a second - though not to be confused with stop motion, where photos necessarily correlate with each other) are a neat and fun way to show hundreds and hundreds of your photos within a few minutes.

Briefly lets you create these videos with just a few clicks.
Import your photos (from your hard drive, flickr or Instagram) and a soundtrack from your iTunes library and Briefly does the rest for you.

You can then share your videos with friends and family right from within Briefly on Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo and flickr.

When you can't decide which photos to show, why not just show them all - with Briefly.

It is available on the Mac App Store for the introductory price of $4.99.
The iOS version is still in the works and will be released for iOS 7 later this year.

A free 15-day trial is available for download from the website (direct download here).

I hope you enjoy this new app :)

    Warm regards,
    Matt

    Version 1.1 available

    Hi all.

I released an update to Briefly a while ago and forgot to post about it here, so I thought I'd do it now ;)

Version 1.1 brings the following new features and improvements:
    * The duration can now be raised to up to 4 seconds per photo in Briefly's preferences
    * An "All Photos" category was added to Instagram for easier import
    * Now checks EXIF date for "Sort by Date", providing more accurate results
    * Added a "Clear Photos and Soundtrack" menu item to be able to start over more quickly

Briefly is available on the Mac App Store for $7.99.
A demo is available here (direct download here).

Thank you for your time and interest.

    Warm regards,
    Matt

    Briefly 1.5.3 released

    Hello.

Yesterday, Briefly 1.5.3 was released, fixing one critical bug that "was able to" prevent the app from creating any videos at all.

    https://itunes.apple.com/app/briefly/id637565340?mt=12

A more substantial update is in the works, but I wanted to release this as soon as possible.

    Enjoy!
