Alright, so my Mac App Store.app is really starting to get annoying. It says I have an update for Twitter available, but I don't have Twitter installed. At all. I deleted all of its files (including the plists and stuff) using AppCleaner. So yeah, I did all that and guess what, it still says I have an update available, and since it says I have an update available, it shows a little icon in my dock above the Mac App Store icon and it's quite annoying to have to look at it when I don't even have the Twitter.app installed at all on my MBA. I've tried installing the update so that Twitter reinstalls on my MBA and then removing it again with AppCleaner, no dice. Tried to install Twitter.app and then update it, no dice. Also, I just realized that even when I download the Twitter.app and update it by clicking on the "Update" button, it will download the update, and then when I launch Twitter.app and go to "About Twitter" it says I'm on version 2.1. The latest version is 2.1. Guess what? The Mac App Store is STILL telling me I have to update my Twitter.app to 2.1 EVEN THOUGH IT'S ALREADY UPDATED TO 2.1. What am I supposed to do? This is starting to get really annoying now.
