Mac App Store issues under Mavericks

Hey, can someone help me please? The Mac App Store is constantly coming up with updates for apps thats already been updated. Anyone know how I can fix this please? See screenshot.

I had to re download iMovie 3 times before it stopped coming up. So annoying.

Same here it asked me to update iMovie like three times. Just ignore it and reboot and it'll go away.

Thunderbolt Firmware Update 1.2 for me seems stuck in an infinite loop. I've installed it about 4 times and let it restart the computer but it continues to say it needs installing. Hopefully we'll get a point release bug fix before too long for Mavericks. This is the only problem I've noted so far with the new OSX.

Someone in other threads has already proposed a solution:

Launch App Store while holding the alt/option button.

Mine is different, it claims I have 5 updates, but only shows what has been updated in the past 30 days.
