Apologies, this is a basic question, but how do you determine the price of apps in the mac app store before you buy a mac?

I see there's some special prices on because of the back to school promotion but on my iPad every time I go to look it chucks me to the iPad app store.

Reasoning being, I might be considering buying my MBA from my local store and take advantage of them downloading the apps, but to start with I want to limit myself to the back to school gift card whilst in the shop.

If there is no way of telling can someone let me know the price of iWork, and Omnifocus in the UK please?

I think that anytime you go to itunes.apple.com/* on an iOS device, the site picks it up and kicks you to the App store on that device since those links are shared with apps for iOS as well. It is just assuming that you are doing normal iOS app shopping.
