I got a weird problem. I did a clean install of Lion on brand new SSD but I left my original HDD with Snow leopard installed as well so its easier for me to copy my old files and apps to new SSD. But now when I open App store for some reason it scans my Snow Leopard HDD and populates those apps as installed in App Store. any ideas how to stop doing it? I disabled Spotlight on my Snow Leopard drive but that didn't help

thanks

Unmount the Snow Leopard drive temporarily. You can do that in Disk Utility or Terminal.
