Get the old school Apple logo and maybe, just maybe, you won't look like a tool.

dang, I had the apple logo with Steve Jobs in it as my choice.

As far as I'm in favor of well thought out and carefully considered tattoos...

Do you really want to brand yourself with a corporate logo?

wait, are you implying that not everyone who has a mac has a tattoo of the Apple logo?

Oh, gracious...no!

I think going for an impulse, it-will-last-forever corporate logo is a great idea!

OP should do it IMMEDIATELY ..if not sooner.

BUT...it must show all the time. None of this it-can-be-covered-up stuff. Show some balls...face or neck ONLY. Anything less visible shows no commitment at all...

  <----For those unsure of post's intent!

I thought of putting it right below the eyes, you know a mirror image of the apple to show just how much I love Macs, I will not even mention I am still waiting to get y very first mac :p :apple:

Below the eyes will mean you killed a Mac for each tatt ;) (tear drop tatts below eyes generally stand for either # of people you've murdered gangsta land lol)

I'm not against tattoos but getting a corporate logo, not really my cup of tea.

I plan on getting a tattoo after I get my blackbelt and it will have a meaning that ties directly into my hard work in achieving that goal.

To each his own and I won't judge someone on getting a tattoo that means a lot but I will say that I'd rather not get something that is permanent (pretty much permanent) of a multibillion dollar corporation - just my $.02

forgot about that one :p

If this is your first tattoo, I would be happy to offer some information that you might find useful.

Also recommend an excellent studio whose sanitary procedures were the model used by the Board Of Health to set up the regs for tattoo studios when they were legalized in Mass.

Just PM if I can offer any help. :D

A tattoo of any company based thing sounds like a bad idea, but since I have a tattoo of Toad (from Mario), I guess it would be a little hypocritical of me. But still, an Apple logo is still a little creepy. Just remember you have to live with it forever unless you can afford laser removal.

but surely an :apple: tattoo will give me points with the ladies at starbucks ,
I could even enhance my appearance by adding glasses to my ward drove. :D

Excellent point!

Laser removal is VERY expensive...$400/session and up for someone who knows what they're doing, and depending on the size of the tat...could be many sessions.

Also, while laser removal generally works well with black, it is only variably effective with other colors, and essentially ineffective with some.

Always consider tattoos permanent. To do otherwise is the road to some real disappointment and regret.

If there is any doubt at all...don't do it.

Just to establish my bona fides...I have tattoos, with no regrets.

I say do something that goes across your chest and onto your shoulders/arms, maybe up your face. Perhaps some pixel-art with every pixel a small apple logo, that forms a larger symbol (Steve Jobs' face, a Mac, or even the apple logo again!)

;)

Of course, large tattoos are a requirement there. Of course to be a certified tech and Genius you need to get your entire body inked. And probably pierced with little apple piercings across your whole body (at least cheek, tongue, ears, belly button, nose, the works). Good luck!

Here's mine on my left shoulder right after it was done. Got it a few days after turning 18 when I originally went in to get two lip piercings.

I don't think I took it into consideration at the time, but I'm pretty sure I had gone through and had 6-8 Apple products by then.

Apple might come and cut off your arm or leg. Copyright ... Maybe not.

A meaningful kanji is ok, but a company logo I would not put on. But hey, it's your body. It it works for you.

Karate, my school does a blend of Kempo, Goju and Jujitsu. I'm currently a brown belt hoping that when the next test comes around in 15 months I'll be ready :D
