I hope someone says something similar to you after you make a decision on your own accord and for yourself.

I don't have an Apple tattoo but I do have a very small Windows logo tattoo. Which I had intentionally put somewhere, easily covered up and small enough that if I ever had to I could dab some concealer on it.

I got it back in college while I was working on my IT degree and was losing steam with it. The Windows symbol actually had meant something to me. I had been tooling around with computers my entire life and the tattoo served as a reminder of why I was putting myself through the "torturous" working full time and school full time.

Even though I mostly use Apple products, I don't regret it one bit as it has meaning to me personally. I wouldn't just tattoo any logo on myself because I enjoy the product. I mean your tastes can change :p You may be an Apple fan now but what if next year you decide you prefer Android and Windows?

To each his own though! :D

When I was selecting my tats, I made a specific choice not to select designs that had personal meaning for me, since personally meaningful things often change over time. (Of course, at my age, I really don't have that much time left for things to change a lot!:p:()

I selected my tattoos based on the aesthetic appeal of the design.

I'm not criticizing those who choose designs with personal significance...often those are an individual's favorites. But bear in mind, especially if you are relatively young, that what is meaningful to you now may well change over time.:D

I figure if it's something you've enjoyed for over 20 years the odds of that changing significantly may be slim.

But then again who knows maybe when I'm 40 I'll detest technology and want to remove all shreds of it from my life. Thank the Gods for tattoo removal! ;)

You just pissed off most Harley riders, including me, plus I'm glad I did something you personally dislike.

I'm guessing you'd also like to control what people wear as well...

Tats are personal and I could careless if others disapprove.

People who put tattoos of company's/corporations/brands etc etc. are *************. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

Getting a tattoo is a very personal thing. People do it either because it looks cool or it has a deep personal meaning. The "because it's cool" people are the ones who may come to regret it, later in life...as styles change. However, if a tattoo has an actual meaning to someone, that tattoo is more enduring.

Who cares what the tattoo is? It doesn't matter if it is an original design or a pop culture image or a corporate logo. If the tattoo is something truly meaningful to a person, how can anyone knock it? If Apple is really important to you, go for it.

Why? What's wrong with it? How is it any different than getting a tattoo of a dragon or a horror character like Freddy Kreuger, or a religious symbol like a cross? They're all the same thing. If you're passionate about something (like Apple), why not?
