Well you could use Wiretap and record as it plays - i think the demo records as aiff so then convert to a mp3 in iTunes...

Check out this great but criminally ignored app http://www.nch.com.au/switch/plus.html The none plus version is available for free but I haven't checked if it worked with Real files. Switch Plus will handle just about all your audio conversion needs 🙂
